ch: cohesion | connectives (Satzverbinder)

Inhalt

Beispiel

ch1: This can be a good thing. On the other hand, this can also be a bad thing.
→ On the one hand, this can be a good thing. On the other hand, this can also be a bad thing.

ch2: The author uses a lot of metaphors. And she uses some similes.
→ In addition, she uses some similes.

Erklärung

Gut geschriebene Texte verwenden ein breites Spektrum satzverbindender Mittel. Verwenden Sie also Wörter wie moreover (Satzadverb, sentence adverb), while (Konjunktion, conjuction) usw.

  • Moreover, the author used a lot of descriptive adjectives to make his article more vivid.
  • In addition, the metaphor "love is a rose" (l. 2) makes the relationship between the speaker and his beloved seem even more romantic.
  • What is more, the author uses eye-witness accounts to appeal to the readers' emotions.
  • However, one could argue that the author biases the readers more than he should.

Also:

  • Kein on the other hand ohne on the one hand

ch2: and, but nicht am Satzanfang!

Tips
